【コメント】: 　著者はアメリカのカーネギー・メロン大学のコンピューター科学の教授である。48歳で博士号の学位もあり教授という地位にあるということを考慮すると、優秀な科学者ということが想像できる。夫婦との間には三人の子供がいるが、結婚が遅かったので子供達はまだ6歳と3歳と18ヶ月である。写真で見るとみなかわいい盛りで思わずほほえましくなってしまう。
